
In Teri's Kitchen; Superfoods Simply Made / Teri Diamond
Ingredients:
4 cups rolled oats
2 cups sliced almonds
1 cup walnut pieces
1/2 cup dried currants
1 cup pecan pieces
1/2 cup canola old
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Pre-heat over to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine oats, almonds, wlnuts and pecans. Set aside. In small bowl, stir together canola oil, honey, maple syrup and cinnamon. Pour over oats and nuts and coat evenly. Pour onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 30-minutes or until granola has an even brown color. While the granola is baking, turn the granola over with a spatula every 10-minutes to ensure it bakes evenly. Remove Granola from the oven and let it cool. Return to bowl, add currants and mix. Store in an airtight container.
