A former state senator has been sentenced to more than five years in prison for taking a bribe during the Tennessee Waltz corruption investigation.
Roscoe Dixon, a former state senator, appearred in federal court Friday morning.
In June, a jury found him guilty of taking more than $9,000 in payoffs from E-Cycle Management.
In exchange, Dixon would help change state law so the fake FBI company could buy and recycle used government computers.
Roscoe Dixon is one of five current or former state lawmakers charged in connection with the undercover sting.
