Sounds Ballpark Proposal Up For Vote

The proposed new ballpark for the Sounds is up for a key vote at Tuesday night's Metro Council meeting.

The Sounds and the developer working with the team released pictures of the new stadium.

It would sit on part of the old thermal plant downtown.

The proposal includes hotels, condos, shops and other businesses on the land adjacent to the stadium.

The Metro Council will vote on extending the deadline for closing on the lease.
