McMINNVILLE, Tenn.- The former Warren County teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a student pleaded guilty to parole violation Wednesday.
Pamela Rogers was accused of violating her parole by sending explicit pictures of herself to the same minor she was convicted of having a sexual relationship with.
Rogers pleaded guilty to two counts of solicitation of sexual exploitation of a minor.
She was on probation at the time.
In 2005, she was sentenced to 9 months in jail for having sex with a then 13-year-old student after pleading no contest. She served six months of an eight-year sentence. She was barred from contacting the student and his family.
The former Centertown Elementary School teacher was sent back to jail after she ignored the judge's orders and sent revealing pictures of herself to the same boy and posted messages to him on MySpace, an Internet social network.
Sending the photographs revoked her probation.
Rogers entered a plea agreement Wednesday morning, pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor.
Rogers received two more years in jail, which will be served at the end of the first term. She is eligible for parole after serving 30 percent of the sentences at the Tennessee Prison for Women.
