Senator Cooper Released From Hospital

State Senator Jerry Cooper was released from the hospital Monday.

Cooper wrecked his SUV last week while driving home to Warren County from Nashville.

A truck driver who witnessed the crash told NewsChannel 5 that he saw a half bottle of Jack Daniel's at the scene. Cooper's blood alcohol results have not been made public.

A federal judge in Chattanooga will decide if Cooper's injuries will delay his fraud trial scheduled for March 5.

A pre-trial hearing is set for Thursday.
