Gay First-Team All-Rookie Team In NBA

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzlies has been named to the NBA's All-Rookie team released Tuesday.

Gay is on the first team as voted by the league's head coaches with 12 first-team votes.

He finished fourth in the voting with 39 points overall behind Brandon Roy of Portland, Andrea Bargnani of Toronto and Randy Foye of Minnesota.

Another Grizzlies rookie also got some votes. Undrafted free agent Tarence Kinsey received one first-team vote and six points overall.
