The controversial head of Metro's 911 operation has resigned.
City officials released RoxAnn Brown's resignation letter Monday night.
In the letter, Brown said it's time for her to move on.
She had overseen the Emergency Communications Center for the past five years.
But earlier this year, "NewsChannel 5 Investigates" uncovered serious problems in how calls for ambulances were answered.
It prompted a major overhaul in policy and led to Brown being reprimanded for the problems.
There's no word on what's next for Brown.
