1 c dark brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 (15-oz) can pumpkin
1 T pumpkin pie spice
1 (18-oz) pkg yellow butter cake mix
1/2 c butter, melted
1 c chopped pecans
Combine sugars and eggs in a large bowl and mix. Beat in pumpkin and pie spice. Pour into greased 9 X 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top of filling; drizzle butter on top. Bake at 350 F for 60-70 minutes or until squares test done. During last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle pecans on top of filling and press pecans into filling. Cool completely before cutting into squares. Yield: 24 squares.
