Chuck Long began his hosting career at age 19, while he was a student at the University of Texas, and has been at it ever since. After college, Long moved to Los Angeles and started entertainment reporting and hosting for E! Entertainment Television. Chuck's Country, which Long produced and hosted, ran for seven years in syndication on CMT and helped kick off the Americana Network.
A popular personality in Nashville, Long also spent 9 years as a senior host on the Nashville based Shop at Home Network. In addition, Long is one of Nashville's busiest pitchmen, appearing in over 100 commercials and infomercials.
As an actor, Long's film roles include Honeysuckle Rose, The Jesse Owens Story, Terror in the Swamp, and its sequel. His numerous television credits include Dallas, Family Ties, Facts of Life, Hunter, The New Lassie, Not Necessarily the News, The Judge and Werewolf.
