MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Maryville puts a 59-game winning streak on the line Saturday in the state championship game against Maplewood.
Maryville has not lost since 2003 and is 14-0 this season.
Maplewood is 12-2.
The only other unbeaten team in the championships is South Pittsburg, 14-0, which plays McKenzie for the title Friday in Class 1-A. McKenzie is 13-1.
The other title game FRiday is Goodpasture against Alcoa in 2A, who both have 13-1 records.
Then Saturday, Independence and Smyrna match 11-3 records for the 5-A title. In Class 3A, it's David Lipscomb against Fulton. Lipscomb is 13-1 and Fulton 12-2.
