MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Randall Cobb rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead Alcoa to a record fourth consecutive state championship with a 35-3 victory over Goodpasture on Friday night.
Cobb rushed for a game-high 127 yards and threw for 44 yards for the Tornadoes, who finished 14-1.
Goodpasture scored its only points on a 27-yard field goal by Glenn Nabors. Goodpasture finished 13-2.
Alcoa, which won three straight titles from 1977-1979, is now the first school to win four in a row.

Maryville will have the opportunity to equal Alcoa's feat of four consecutive titles on Saturday.
