How To Help Vicitms of Local Tornadoes

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Lots people have been asking how they can help those affected by Tuesday's tornadoes.

Victims or volunteers can dial 211 on their phone to find the nearest shelter or see what supplies or hands-on help might be needed.

Also, Bethpage United Methodist Church teamed up with the Red Cross and the United Methodist Disaster Recovery Team to collect food for the tornado victims.

Here's a list of items needed: Bread, Trail Mix and Bottled Water.

You can drop all donations off at Bethpage United Methodist Church on Highway 31 E in Bethpage. For more information call 615-841-37-61.

If you can't get to the church, you can also help victims by donating money.

NewsChannel 5 partnered with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to create a Storm Victim's Fund.
