Nissan Donates $120K To Help Tornado Victims

Posted:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nissan North America, Inc., announced Friday it would donate $120,000 in cash to the Nashville Area Red Cross to assist with tornado relief efforts.

Tornadoes ripped through the state earlier this week.

The donation will help support the organization's Southern Tornado Relief Fund.

"Tennessee is our home so we felt a responsibility to help our neighbors," said Dominique Thormann, senior vice president of administration and finance, in a news release. "As a corporation, we are committed to helping the communities in which we live and work especially in time of need."

The Red Cross is coordinating relief efforts in Tennessee with other organizations.
