NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Three men tied up employees and robbed a used car dealership in South Nashville.
Now, police are searching for the suspects.
Some of the crime was caught on tape.
Ion Friday, Nov. 9, three men came into Mexicali Motors, 405 McNally Drive. They asked to test drive a car. A sales person took them for a drive.
When they returned, the customers pulled pistols, tied up two employees and ransacked the office.
"The fact that they brandished weapons in a robbery and then they tied up these clerks shows they're not afraid to use violence and it's just a danger to the public on the street," said Metro officer Daniel Henkel.
The men took money and ran.
Police said a fourth suspect picked them up in either a gold or silver colored Ford Explorer. They were last scene driving toward Nolensville Road.
The crime was caught on tape. Police have photographs of the suspects.
Henkel said they obtained "extremely good video."
"We have really good shots of at least two of the three individuals. It shows clear shots of their faces," Henkel said.
Police said the men appeared to be in their twenties. One of the victims thought one of the suspects had a Salvadorean accent.
