State Could Have 11 Teams In NCAA Tourneys

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The state of Tennessee could end up with an impressive eleven teams in NCAA men's and women's tourneys.

Nine teams from the state are already in the tourneys. Men's and women's teams from Middle Tennessee State are in Sun Belt Tourney championship games Tuesday.

Already qualified are men's teams from Memphis, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Austin Peay and Belmont, along with women's teams from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Chattanooga and East Tennessee State.
