I-65 Closed In Southern Ky. After Wreck

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A wreck on Interstate 65 has closed the northbound lanes in south-central Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police said the wreck happened at about 8:45 p.m. at the Munfordville exit about 35 miles north of Bowling Green and caused a crude oil spill.

Injuries were reported, but police weren't releasing any details.

Northbound motorists must detour by taking the Horse Cave exit at the 58 mile marker, then take Kentucky 218 to U.S. 31 north to Kentucky 728 in Bonnieville, then continue to I-65.

The northbound lanes are expected to be shut down until nearly 7 a.m.
