Gunfire Erupts At Memorial For Missing Mom and Child

Posted:

CROSS PLAINS, Tenn. - Gunfire interrupted at a memorial marking the four-year anniversary of the disappearance of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix.

The incident happened in Robertson County Sunday night where friends and family of the Wix's gathered to remember the mother and daughter and call for justice in their case.

The gunfire rang out near the home of Joey Benton, Jennifer's ex-boyfriend.

The Wix family has long suspected Benton of foul play in the case, but Benton denies any involvement in their disappearance.

"I miss them both," Benton said. "I'd do anything to know where she was at."

"My anger will never go away, because they didn't deserve it.  Their lives were just starting," said Jennifer's mom, Kathy Holloway.

So far, police have not charged anyone in the shooting or the disappearance of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix.
