NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Members of Sylvan Park Elementary Paideia Design Center's Parent Teach Association treated the teachers to a spa day.
"It feels great. May hands are so soft. I wish they could stay like that. That's why I asked if we could use it on our feet," said teacher Chanda Wilson as she received treatment on her hands.
Wilson was one of the lucky teachers who signed up for half hour of pampering.
This week, the PTA offered different surprises for the teachers as a way to compliment the teachers' contributions to the school.
"We love the PTA here, they're a great bunch of people and they just treat us with the utmost respect," said one teacher.
"I believe the parents appreciate what we do and we appreciate what they did," said another teacher.
The PTA also gave each teacher personalized mugs and a new coffeemaker for the teacher's break room. The organization also provided a new microwave in the room, which also features a new paint job, new clock and paintings from students.
The staff will also be treated to a barbeque lunch on Friday.
