NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 if anyone can help Metro police solve a liquor store robbery in Lakewood.

Police said the crime was caught on tape and someone might recognize the suspects.

It was almost 10 p.m. on April 2 when two men entered the Hermitage Liquor store in Lakewood.

They picked up a couple of bottles and headed to the cashier. One man paid for his beverages, but the other had different intentions.

"Just prior to the cashier or clerk closing the cash register drawer he reached across and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money," said detective Robert Allen.

Police believe the men were working together. Another clerk standing between the cash register and the front door was hurt.

"She stepped into his path of travel at which point he shoved her to the ground," Allen said.

The woman suffered a deep cut on her head when she fell into a concrete display case.

Paramedics took her to a hospital. She recovered from her injuries, but police are still looking for the robbers who caused them, and took the money.

Surveillance cameras in the store captured most of the robbery.

"We can see they are loitering in the store and the transactions at the register and we have a good shot of them entering the store," Allen said.

One of the suspects stood out. He was a black male in his 20's. He was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed 120-130 pounds. He had gold teeth and a tattoo that read "RIP".

If anyone has any information that can help police solve the robbery of the Hermitage Liquor Store call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for clues in this case. Callers will remain anonymous.
