Kelley Cannon In Court For Prelim In Husband's Murder

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Police said Kelley Cannon murdered her estranged husband, and the suspect has been scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning on murder charges.

A preliminary hearing was slated for 9 a.m.

Police arrested Kelley last week for allegedly strangling her husband, well-known local attorney James Cannon.

James was found dead in a closet at the family's home in June. He and his wife were separated at the time.

Detectives said evidence at the scene linked Kelley to the crime.
