Franklin Heights, January Street: Band, bingo, jumpy blowup, bookmobile, Read to Succeed, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee

Patterson Park, 521 Mercury Blvd.: Climbing wall, carnival games, gospel music, fingerprinting, and bike medic

Rogers Park, 1115 Hunt St.: Petting zoo, moon walk, raffle baskets, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, and blood pressure checks

SportsCom, 2310 Memorial Blvd.: Helicopter, humvee, free swim, music, bike medic, Health Department booth, and inflatables

Spring Valley apartments, 1400 Manor Drive: Cake walk, gold fish toss, pie-eating contest, Read to Succeed, and balsa airplanes


Lee Victory Recreation Park, 110 Sam Ridley Pkwy., from 5 to 8 p.m., hosted by the Smyrna CPAAA: FBI, TBI Crime Lab, Boys & Girls Clubs, National Guard and area churches will have informational booths.

Inflatable will be available for kids and free hot dogs, chips, drinks and ice cream will be available while they last.

La Vergne:

Veterans Memorial Park, Floyd Mayfield Drive from 6 to 10 p.m. Hosted by the city's police department, activities include inflatables, hot air balloon rides, and demonstrations from karate schools and the police department special operations group.

Hot dogs, burgers and snow cones will be available for free.
