36 chocolate cream-filled sandwich cookies (16 or 17-oz pkg)
5 bananas, sliced
2 T chocolate syrup
2 T caramel syrup
1/4 c chopped, toasted pecans
Maraschino cherries or whole strawberries for garnish, optional
Beat whipping cream with an electric mixer while gradually adding sugar. Beat until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl beat cream cheese. Add whipping cream to cream cheese, gradually, while beating with mixer; set aside. Crush sandwich cookies in a food processor. In a large serving bowl layer half of cookie crumbs, bananas and cream mixture. Repeat layers and drizzle with chocolate and caramel syrup. Sprinkle pecans and place cherries or strawberries in center of bowl, if desired. Yield: 8-10 servings. **May also drizzle with caramel sauce on top.
