Police Arrest Four Suspects In Hotel Robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Police have four robbery suspects in custody Thursday morning after they took police on a wild chase.

Terry Williams, Randall Gilmore, Kelly Wood, and Chantell Copeland were charged with aggravated assault and robbery.

Police said the four suspects robbed a man inside the Suburban Lodge on Central Pike in Hermitage, and then took off in a Chevy Impala.

The victim flagged down an officer outside the hotel who chased the car into traffic in downtown Nashville.

"The suspect's car tried to squeeze in between the guard rail and an ambulance," said Don Aaron with Metro Police. "[It] wound up hitting both and stopped."

Police said Williams, the alleged driver, got out of the car and took off, but he was later apprehended.

Thursday morning, all four suspects remained behind bars.
