NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Crime Stoppers need help solving a burglary in Madison.
A computer heist was caught on tape. It happened at a store that rents merchandise to the public.
The information someone has could be worth up to $1,000 in cash.
On July 6, Metro Police responded to a burglar alarm at an Aaron Rents store in Madison.
When they arrived at 1028 S. Gallatin Pike, they found a broken frame on the front door. Someone broke into the store and stole a Dell computer. The heist was caught on tape.
Surveillance video shows the man throwing a large rock through the door.
He grabbed the computer and a monitor.
Police said he is a white male who is between 5 feet 6 inches and six feet tall.
At the time of the burglary, he was wearing red shorts, dark shoes and white socks. He didn't have on a shirt.
He had short hair and possibly a thin goatee.
Police said the surveillance video is not the greatest, but someone still might be able to identify the suspect.
South Gallatin Pike is a major road and even at 4 a.m. there's some traffic.
