MT. JULIET, Tenn. - A former Mt. Juliet cop accused of choking a man during a traffic stop will have to answer questions about what happened.
William Cosby was charged with aggravated assault and perjury. The charges stem from an April traffic stop. Cosby used a choke-hold on James Anders Jr., because he thought Anders had drugs in his mouth.
Anders actually lost consciousness during the stop. The Mt Juliet police department fired Cosby back in September.
