NASHVILLE, Tenn. - It's been nine years since a Nashville woman disappeared.

Laresha Walker, 23, was beloved by her family and friends. She had a 2-year-old son.

One day she was gone and her family continues to search for answers.

Put three sisters together and you're sure to hear some great stories.

"Our minds are continually churning. We have no clue," said Cimeaka Patton, one of Walker's sisters.

On Nov. 19, 1999, Walker dropped off her son at her sister's home. She was going to get her car looked at the next morning.

Neighbors at her home off Ben Allen Road reported that she was arguing with someone outside her townhouse that night. That was the last time anyone heard from or saw Walker.

"The music was up, but there was no sign of her there," said Lakesha Chambers, another sister.

The case has remained cold for nine years. Each year is another one Laresha Walker's son grows up without his mother.

"I miss seeing what she'd be today," Cimeaka Patton said. "I miss that her son is missing out on a good woman

"That's hard for me to look at him every day and I know that he's emotional and I know that he misses his mom. But I don't know what to tell him. And it hurts so bad."

The sisters still hope that this story will have an ending one day and that they can go back to sharing those memories they missed out on.

"We pray for that every day," Chambers said.

Metro police said although this is still considered a missing persons case they do believe foul play may be involved and treat the case as a potential homicide.

If anyone has any information that could be helpful to detectives, please call Metro police or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
