Missing Persons in the Urban Community
Airs January 15, 17, 18, 29, 31, February 1
Why do names like Elizabeth Smart, Caylee Anthony, and Janet March ring a bell, but we don't always know names like Laresha Walker? On this edition of Urban Outlook, we talk about the plight of victims and missing persons in the urban community. Earl Jordan from Partners in the Struggle and Kenny Smoov from 92Q talk about what needs to happen to keep other missing person cases in the limelight. They also discuss the problems with e-mail pranks and hoaxes and how we can use tools at our disposal to make sure we keep victims and missing persons in the spotlight until their cases are solved.
