Child Sexual Abuse in the Faith Community

Child abuse in faith communities often make the news and paint churches in a poor light. But, what can faith communities do about the problem and prevent abuse before it starts? On Issues of Faith, Valerie Craig from You Have the Power and Tim Alexander from Smith Springs Church of Christ talk about the issue in churches and how a congregation can prepare for a tragic situation involving abuse. Valerie and Tim say that ignoring the problem won't prevent it from happening in your community.
