On this edition of The Plus Side of Nashville, we'll talk about the Nashville Children's Alliance and the upcoming Andrea Walks to raise money for the Nashville Children's Alliance. June Turner with the Nashville Children's Alliance will share some of the wonderful work they do everyday to help children in need. Andrea Walks Chairperson Nancy Shultz will share details about the upcoming walk and the goals they hope to reach with this year's walk. Then, Sam Davidson with Cool People Care and Judy Takats with World Wildlife Fund discuss Nashville's participation in the upcoming Earth Hour. Earth Hour is a global lights-out event where major cities agree to switch off their lights to bring awareness to the issue of climate change. Nashville is one of seven official Earth Hour flagship cities in the United States. Earth Hour takes place on March 28 at 8:30pm. This month on The Plus Side of Nashville, we'll talk about the work of the Sexual Assault Center - an organization that's mission is to end sexual violence and provide healing for children, adults and families affected by sexual assault through counseling and education. Rachel Freeman, Vice President of Clinical Services at the Sexual Assault Center, and Joseph Bass, a Sexual Assault Center volunteer, join us to talk about the efforts the center is making to end sexual violence and their upcoming "Walk in Their Shoes" event.
