Kelsey Keny grew up in Middle Tennessee and studied journalism at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
While in college, Kelsey interned as a reporter for The Knoxville News Sentinel and worked the assignment desk on weekends at CBS affiliate WVLT.
After moving to Nashville, Kelsey worked in music PR for a few years before joining the News Channel 5 team in 2019.
