HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Hendersonville man was arrested after police say he stabbed his father.
Police say 28-year-old Michael "Scott" Coleman got into an argument at their home on Newport Lane Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the home around 1:30 p.m. Once there, they found Coleman's father stabbed multiple times.
He was sent to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Coleman was taken into custody and charged with attempted second degree murder. He's being held in the Sumner County Jail on a $750,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 8, at 9 a.m.
