A person was rescued from a burning home west of Nashville thanks to the quick actions of a neighbor and several first responders.
The incident was reported around noon Thursday, at a home on Wyoming Avenue just west of Nashville.
Details of the rescue were limited at this point, but officials did confirm that one person was pulled from the home.
A neighbor, along with two Nashville fire fighters and two Metro police officers, have been credited with getting the person to safety.
The two Metro officers have been identified as Sergeant Edwin A. Groves and Officer Robert Morris.
Authorities identified the two firefighters as Jeff Hubler and Wayne Foriest.
No additional details were known.
