NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Metro Police officer has been decommissioned after allegations she was selling an alcohol drink to teachers while she was on-duty as a school resource officer.

Officer Candace Steen was decommissioned April 4.

Metro Police received a complaint from an administrator at West End Middle School where Steen was an SRO.

The administrator reported Steen "had been selling a concoction of alcohol mixed with other ingredients to school staff while on duty."

Steen has been assigned to a desk job while the Office of Professional Accountability conducts an investigation into the complaint.
