Medical students from across the county have reason to celebrate this weekend. They now know where they will become residents.
On National Match Day at Meharry Medical College, students opened a sealed envelope to learn where they'll be doing their residency.
One student, Kathryn Harris, said she’s going to her first choice. She will be headed to the University of Maryland for an Internal Medicine residency.
She said she’s proud to be following in her father's footsteps as a doctor.
