Trump Supporters Line Up Outside Municipal

President Trump supporters braved the cold Wednesday morning as they began lining up outside Municipal Auditorium.

Trump was scheduled to speak around 6:30 p.m. after laying a wreath at former President Andrew Jackson’s tomb. Thousands of people descended on downtown for the event.

The president took the stage to speak at Municipal Auditorium just after 7 p.m.

Some supporters began arriving around 4 a.m. just to get a spot inside the auditorium.

For Richard Snowden, this is his 40th Donald Trump event, dating back to the beginning of his campaign.

“The Trump movement just became very exciting and a very fun thing to do,” Snowden said.  “I made great friendships with people all over the country.”

Doors for the rally opened at 3:30 p.m.
