Vice President Mike Pence visited the Volunteer State. He touted the accomplishments of the first 18 months of President Donald Trump's administration in Cleveland.

He spoke Saturday at an America First Policies "Tax Cuts to Put America First" gathering.

"We cut taxes for working families,” Vice President Pence said. “We think the typical family of four in this part of Tennessee is going to save about $2,000 every year on your taxes. We cut taxes for businesses large and small so that businesses here in Tennessee can compete and win against businesses anywhere in the world and create jobs right here in the Volunteer State."

Mr. Pence said the first year and a half of President Trump's time in office could be summarized as "promises made, promises kept."
