A woman was killed Thursday night when she was hit by dump truck in Goodlettsville.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 53-year-old Diane B. Glass of Goodlettsville died at the scene.
It happened around 6 p.m. Thursday by Jonathan Gary, who was driving the 2005 Ford dump truck in the northbound lanes of Dickerson Pike.
Officials’ preliminary investigation showed that Glass was not in a crass walk when she was hit.
No charges have been filed against Gray. A friend reported that Glass had been drinking prior to the crash. Toxicology testing will be conducted to determine whether alcohol was a contributing factor.
