A man was taken to the hospital after being shot at a local apartment complex.
Police said they responded to a shots fired call around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of McMurray Drive at the Whispering Hills Apartments.
Reports stated a man and a woman were sitting in a car when the man was shot.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in unknown condition. The female was being questioned by police.
Reports stated there were at least three suspects. They fled from the scene in a grey car.
Authorities said the motive was unknown. The shooting remained under investigation.
