This year, NewsChannel 5 is asking you to help us raise $1,000 to provide hope to families across our community and help stop the events that could lead to life changes that are not for the better.
The $1,000 we raise can be used in many ways life-changing ways. It can:
-provide 100 meals for those experiencing homelessness or living encampments, while being assisted by LifNav Engagement Specialists to find Rapid Rehousing Solutions.
-supply the money needed to keep a family of five safely in their home with the lights on during the upcoming winter season.
-help close the gap for families moving into new homes of their own for five months.
-provide a safe, fun, educational environment in an after-school program for children in our community.
With your help to reach our Red Kettle Challenge Goal, we can continue to help our neighbors as they continue to fight back against the current economic challenges our community is facing.
