Investigators with the Metro Nashville Police Department arrested a man believed to be responsible for a fatal shooting in a Nashville dance club.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Marcus Perry in connection to Sunday night's fatal shooting at Club Kilimanjaro on Artic Avenue.

The incident happened around 5:15 a.m. Sunday inside the club.

Authorities confirmed both 21-year-old John T. Morrow and 38-year-old Abdinasir Jimale were shot.

Reports stated Morrow passed away from his injuries. Jimale was being treated for a wound to his head. He was last listed in critical condition.

Witnesses said gunfire erupted after an argument between Morrow and the suspect.

The gunman has been described as a black man, standing around 6’3’’ tall and weighing approximately 300 pounds. He had long dreads past his mid back and fled from the scene in a newer model van with maroon and gray running boards.
