Authorities have confirmed they're searching for a wanted man after a store owner was dragged by a getaway vehicle following a robbery.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Country Cupboard on Tom Austin Highway when the owner had a bank bag under his arm. A customer grabbed the cash and ran out of the store.

Danny, the owner, went after the customer who had been in the store before, although the owners couldn't remember his name.

He tried to stop the vehicle, but was dragged by it, scratching up his face and knees.

Officials have confirmed they're looking for 31-year-old Steven Houston Walker in the case.

Walker has been described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, standing around 5'10'' tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds.

According to reports, Walker has been charged with robbery and aggravated assault.

Authorities said numerous active arrest warrants exist for Walker.

Anyone with information on Walker's whereabouts has been urged to call the Coopertown Police Department at 615-382-7007.
