The son of Manuel Cuevas, designer of all things Country in Music City, hopes to remove the stigma surrounding ostomy procedures.
NewsChannel 5 caught up with Manny at Maury Regional Medical Center, where an Ostomy Expo was held to help others learn more about ostomy procedures.
Manny said he's coming out of his shell to help get rid of the stigma that surrounds colostomy issues.
"Unfortunately, but fortunately, we've been chosen as the ones to go through this because we are strong, you know? Only the stronger survive. So here we are,” he said.
