Officials have identified the passenger who was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Humphreys County.

Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said the wreck happened around 4 p.m. Sunday in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 136 near the Tennessee River.

A vehicle being driven by 27-year-old Donta Wilson was traveling west when it veered off the roadway into the median.

From there, the car struck two vehicles in the eastbound lanes before coming to rest on the side of the roadway.

Wilson's passenger, 24-year-old Rickie Wesley, of Memphis, was killed in the crash. The drivers of the other vehicles were injured.

Investigators said charges are pending in the case.
