The search for a gunman got underway in South Nashville after a man was shot leaving a bar.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the victim and his friend were leaving a bar on Bell Road when he was shot in the leg.
They were able to make it to a Mapco on Murfreesboro Pike and called for help.
The victim told police he did not see who shot him. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Officers said they’re still investigating, but there is not a clear description of the suspect.
