The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has asked the public’s help for information in an ongoing homicide investigation in Hickman County.
The body of 32-year-old Paul “JR” Hayward, of Columbia, was found along Highway 230 on December 27, 2015.
An autopsy was performed and indicated that he’d been shot to death.
According to the TBI, Hayward visited at least two bars in Maury County, including The Crash Bar and The Thirsty Mule, in the hours leading up to his death.
Authorities have asked that anyone who may have seen him at either location or may have additional details to contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
The investigation remained ongoing.
