Motorcyclist Killed; Driver Charged With DUI

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Clarksville involving a suspected drunk driver.

Authorities said 21-year-old Benjamin Wilson was charged with vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, and failure to yield following the crash.

Police said the wreck happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on North 2nd Street.

Wilson was attempting to turn onto Riverside Drive, and he allegedly did not yield to an oncoming motorcycle.

The 25-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Diamond Dillard, died at the scene. Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools communications director confirmed Dillard was a voluntary coach with Kenwood High School.
