People Line Streets To Honor Fallen Ft. Campbell Soldier

People lined the street in Clarksville Friday to honor Sergeant William Bays who was killed in Afghanistan on June 10. Sergeant Bays received full military honors.

He was one of three Ft. Campbell soldiers killed that day. Sergeant Eric Houck and Sergeant Dillon Baldridge were also killed.

U.S. Army Sergeant Eric Houck was laid to rest on Sunday in Clarksville. Sergeant Dillon Baldridge was also remembered Friday in Ashe County, North Carolina.

Baldridge was posthumously promoted to sergeant. He was also posthumously awarded the bronze star medal, purple heart, combat infantryman badge and the army commendation medal with one oak leaf cluster.

He was the youngest soldier killed in this attack.
