The Nashville Predators have planned to wear special lavender jerseys to help in the fight against cancer at Preds Hockey Fights Cancer Night.
The players will take the ice in the purple jerseys Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena in the pregame skate before facing the Washington Capitals.
Those jerseys will then be auctioned off throughout the three Hockey Fights Cancer Night games.
Other fundraisers planned for Tuesday night's game included Hockey Fights Cancer Mystery Pucks which will be sold in Section 106-107.
