The Nashville Predators got into the Christmas spirit by spending time with children at Monroe Carell Junior Children's Hospital.

A few of the Preds were at the hospital Friday for their “Coloring with Kids" event.

The boys and girls had fun listening to Christmas tunes, dancing, and coloring Christmas cards with the players.

Some of them even showed off their competitive side with a little friendly competition..

“We're coloring some Christmas cards right now,” said Preds player Ryan Johansen. “Me and my buddy Nicholas, we got a little competition going on. We're picking designs, or Nicholas is picking designs, and we're seeing who can draw the designs better.”

In case you're wondering, the judge of the contest was their mascot, Gnash, and yes, Nicholas won.
