Two men were injured in what appeared to be a random shooting at the Exxon Tigermart on Dickerson Pike in Nashville.

According to Metro Nashville Police officials, two men inside the store noticed a man doing something near their car.

The men walked outside to approach the man and see what he was doing. That's when police said he pulled a gun and shot them both.

The shooter then fled in a Chevy Trailblazer.

The two victims ran back inside to call for help. One of them was shot in the abdomen and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The other was shot in the leg and taken to Tristar Skyline Medical Center. Officials said he lost a great deal of blood but is expected to survive.

A short time after the shooting, police received a call of an SUV - matching the description of the Trailblazer - wrecked on Ewing Drive. Investigators were not certain if it was the same vehicle, but they were looking into whether or not the crash and shooting were connected.
